If you end up fighting Jessup rather than talking to him, then you'll find a holotape about Benny plus Benny's lighter on Jessup's corpse. To help you out, he'll give you Benny'sĮngraved Cigarette Lighter. Jessup will then inform you that Benny never paid the Khans for their work, and he'll wish you good luck in hunting him down. Inside the ruins, you'll meet a Great Khan named Jessup (in the Great Khan hideout). This is a part of the questīoulder City Showdown. Regardless, you'll learn that the men went toīoulder City (#4), you'll learn from Lieutenant Monroe that a group of Great Khans is holed up in the ruins. If you don't want to complete that quest, then you can also get Manny's information from the terminal in his room, or by stealing the Holotape from his inventory. When you ask Manny about the men, he'll ask you for a favor in return, and he'll give you the questĬome Fly with Me. You'll find Manny either in his motel room or at his post in the mouth of the Dinky the T-Rex sculpture (accessed via the Dino Bite Gift Shop). When you reach Novac (#3), you'll learn from Jeannie May Crawford (at the Dino Dee-Lite Front Desk) that the men talked to Manny Vargas when they passed through the town. If Beagle dies in the hotel, then you'll need to read his journal (found on his corpse) to learn about
Novac, and he'll recommend that you follow them via When Beagle does talk, he'll reveal that the men you're looking for headed up to Otherwise, you'll need to untie him and then get him out of the hotel before he'll say anything to you. If you have at least 30 Speech, then you'll be able to convince him to talk to you right away. When you talk to Beagle, he'll demand that you set him free. Otherwise you'll have to fight your way through about a half dozen convicts, including the convict leader, to get to him. If you sneak up to him via the maintenance door then you'll be able to reach him with a minimum of violence. Inside the hotel, you'll find Deputy Beagle tied up in the kitchen. Unfortunately, you'll then learn that Beagle subsequently got captured by the convicts who took over the town, and that he's now being held in the Bison Steve Hotel.
Primm (#2), if you talk to Johnson Nash (in the Vikki and Vance Casino), then you'll learn that the men passed through Primm, and that Deputy Beagle eavesdropped on some of their conversations. Goodsprings (#1), including Victor, the securitron who rescued you, then you'll learn a few things about the men, including that most of them appeared to be Great Khans, but for a serious lead you'll need to travel south to
For this quest you'll need to learn more about the men who robbed and shot you, and figure out where they went.
