This dialogue pool is determined by the game in several steps:ġ) The game determines which dialogue file it will use depending on several factors, such as the speaker's race and type and the kind of dialogue needed. When an NPC speaks to another entity, it usually says one sentence picked at random from a certain dialogue pool. So…a Glitch villager will have at least 40 different things to say to an Avian, 40 different things to say to an Apex, etc. Mollygos- At the moment we’re aiming for about 40 dialogue options per race for standard villagers. In addition, certain kinds of NPCs have higher stats than expected due to possessing tier bonuses on top of the planet tier - this occurs for some NPCs involved in procedurally generated Quests as well as boss NPCs at the ends of certain Dungeons. Like Monsters, NPCs gain improved stats when they appear on planets with higher Tiers. Many tenants are semi-unique, meaning they may be procedurally generated but have a very limited number of parameters available. Tenants are spawned based on the furnishings you provide their housing. These also include many tenants which are summoned using a Colony Deed. They can be found on planets, as part of quests, or in villages and dungeons. Unique NPCs are those that are pre-designed, and not made through the procedural generation engine.
